We're a small Type A assisted living facility set in a real home in a residential neighborhood. Six residents will each have their own private bedroom and bathroom on a small homestead with backyard chickens, a vegetable garden, and a mother/daughter team ensuring you or your loved one receives personalized care.
My name is Lenzie, and I'm the founder of the Homestead. The inspiration behind the home, Corina Keys. Corina "Corky" Keys is my mother-in-law, who moved into assisted living five years ago. Corina "Cora" Keys is my toddler, whose relationship with her grandmother (along with the other residents at Granny's place) led me to see how important it is for the seniors in our community to have a sense of purpose and interaction with other generations.
We're at 1026 Rose Circle, College Station, TX — in the heart of the Brazos Valley, minutes from Texas A&M University, Downtown Bryan, and local medical facilities. You'll find a map on our Contact page.
Home-cooked meals, housekeeping, transportation for errands, and the everyday attention of a live-in aide. Just as important are the things that make days meaningful — tending the vegetable garden, watching the chickens lay tomorrow's breakfast, tending memorials to loved ones, and time with visiting children.
We're coming soon and are gathering our first residents' families now. Join the waitlist or call (979) 221-2361 and we'll keep you up to date as opening day approaches.
Absolutely. Watch our Events page for open house dates, or contact us to arrange a personal conversation — we'd love to meet you and your family.
Scale and spirit. With a small number of residents in a real house, care is personal and days feel like home — shared meals around one table, a porch worth sitting on, and neighbors who know your name. It's assisted living the way family would do it.
